Expert Python Developer

j-labs software specialist operates a long-term project developing modern backend solutions in Python that support business process automation, data processing, and AI applications.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience developing backend applications in Python.
• Strong knowledge of Python and designing/developing REST APIs.
• Practical experience with FastAPI and production REST API services.
• Experience building AI applications and orchestrating workflows in Python.
• Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar AI workflow and agent frameworks.
• Ability to profile and debug Python applications, identify memory leaks and performance issues.
• Experience processing large datasets and files efficiently with memory/time optimization.
• Practical knowledge of asynchronous programming in Python, including asyncio and concurrency handling.
• Experience diagnosing production environment problems and analyzing application logs.
• Good knowledge of Git and collaborative software development practices.
• Experience maintaining and refactoring legacy applications and updating Python and libraries.
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level.
• Polish language proficiency at minimum B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience building and maintaining production AI agents, multi-agent architectures, and human-in-the-loop solutions.
• Knowledge of Pandas and NumPy for data processing.
• Experience in financial services, education, data processing, or internal systems.

• Contribute to the development of agent-based solutions and complex automation processes.
• Lead functionalities through full lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment and support.
• Participate in technical and architectural discussions and help establish best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality, readability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate on CI/CD processes and deployments ensuring reliable change delivery.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in existing applications and integrated services.
• Work within Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and communicate with stakeholders translating business needs into technical solutions.
