Fullstack Java Developer (Java / Angular)

DCG is hiring a Fullstack Java Developer working on Commercial Cards applications with microservices architectures and secure coding practices in a banking-related domain.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Full Stack Java development
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Angular and Angular Material for frontend development
• Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka and relational databases using SQL
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in containerized environments
• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities from SAST and container security scans
• Understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP security principles
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
• Basic familiarity or willingness to explore AI-assisted development tools
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level)

Nice to have:

• Experience in banking, commercial cards, or payments domain
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-native application development
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and vulnerability management
• Knowledge of application performance optimization, monitoring, and observability tools
• Experience mentoring or coaching developers in best engineering practices

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, and SQL
• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external communication
• Implement new features and improve existing Commercial Cards applications
• Identify, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities from SAST, container scanning, dependency scanning, and penetration testing
• Apply secure coding practices and OWASP principles throughout SDLC
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, application defects, and production incidents
• Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Improve application performance, availability, resilience, and quality
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Leverage AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot to enhance coding, testing, documentation, and vulnerability remediation
• Explore AI agents and intelligent automation in development and operations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in engineering efficiency, automation, security, and software quality
