Senior Azure DevOps Engineer (German Speaking)

• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment processes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and Checkmk, or equivalent solutions
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in DevOps work for code and script generation, task automation, or technical documentation
• Understanding of security practices and experience integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile environments, using SAFe, Scrum, or similar frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving infrastructure and delivery processes
• German at C1 level or native proficiency, with the ability to understand Swiss German
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level)
• Availability to work onsite in Zurich for up to 40% of the time
• Work from the European Union region and holding a work permit are required

• Experience working in public-sector organizations or public companies
• Experience applying GenAI in structured ways within the SDLC, including workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations
• Interest and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices, such as agent-based workflows and AI-augmented development, with a willingness to experiment beyond standard approaches

• Designing, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes in an Azure environment
• Managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform
• Working with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Maintaining monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Grafana and Checkmk
• Integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines to support secure software delivery
• Applying AI tools to everyday DevOps tasks, including code and script generation, automation, and technical documentation
• Collaborating with engineering teams to improve deployment processes, infrastructure reliability, and operational efficiency
• Contributing to Agile delivery processes using SAFe, Scrum, or similar frameworks

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required. Availability to work onsite in Zurich for up to 40% of the time.
