Senior / Principal DevOps Engineer

West Code is building a greenfield international gaming platform with a focus on the PAM / Core Platform area. The platform is cloud-based, utilizing AWS and engineering practices for a high-volume transactional system.

• Strong hands-on AWS experience in production environments
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes / EKS
• Expertise in Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps (e.g., Argo CD)
• Strong understanding of networking, IAM, secrets, and cloud security
• Experience with production monitoring and observability
• Experience designing or operating highly available distributed systems
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production incidents
• Strong ownership and ability to work directly with senior engineers and architects
• Proficient in English

Strong Advantage:

• Experience with high-volume fintech, payments, gaming, adtech, or other data-intensive platforms
• Knowledge of Kafka / MSK and event-driven systems
• Experience with Karpenter, HPA/VPA, and workload autoscaling
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK / OpenSearch or similar
• Experience with Cilium or advanced Kubernetes networking
• Knowledge of Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or External Secrets
• Experience managing multi-account AWS environments
• Experience defining platform standards used by multiple engineering teams
• Familiarity with SRE practices, SLI/SLO design, and incident management

• Own AWS platform architecture and ensure production readiness
• Manage Kubernetes / EKS environments and workload platform
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Develop and maintain CI/CD and GitOps-based deployment workflows
• Manage environment and account separation across development, test, and production
• Make scaling, capacity, resilience, and cost-aware infrastructure decisions
• Provide observability, alerting, and incident-readiness
• Implement secrets management, IAM, access control, and platform security guardrails
• Enable developer self-service and platform automation
• Design disaster recovery, backup, and operational continuity patterns
