Business Analyst / Product Owner (technical background)

• At least 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Systems Analyst, preferably on legacy modernization, migration, or integration projects.
• Proven track record of As-Is / To-Be analysis and designing/documenting target states.
• Ability to read code (ideally Java / Spring) and write SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL) to understand existing logic and profile data.
• Strong process-modeling skills (BPMN, swimlanes, data-flow and integration diagrams) and experience documenting business rules and data mappings.
• Experience defining portals/internal tools from the business side including user roles, journeys, wireframes (e.g., Figma, Miro), and functional specifications.
• Good understanding of modern cloud architectures, ideally Azure, REST APIs, and data platforms such as Databricks.
• Hands-on backlog management including writing clear user stories and testable acceptance criteria using tools like Jira or Confluence.
• Comfortable working on business-critical operational systems where downtime has real-world impact.
• Experience using AI assistants to enhance analysis, documentation, and code comprehension.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills in English (C1), capable of leading workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Act as the key point of contact between client stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring communication and alignment.
• Gather requirements, clarify expectations, and translate business needs into clear product direction.
• Take ownership of an existing product backlog and ensure smooth ongoing development.
• Structure, prioritize, and refine initiatives, epics, and user stories with the development team.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinements, and define acceptance criteria for functionality.
• Coordinate dependencies, contribute to PI Planning objectives, and support product roadmap execution.
• Ensure delivered features meet agreed quality standards through validation and functional testing support.
• Monitor progress, identify risks or delivery challenges, and provide transparent status updates to stakeholders.
