Lead IT Expert

Roche is a company operating in the regulated pharma/life sciences industry with a focus on quality and clinical experience. The role involves working within a complex, multi-product enterprise environment emphasizing ERP implementations such as SAP BTP, S/4HANA, and core ERP platforms.

• Proven experience designing enterprise ERP architectures with SAP HANA, SAP BTP, or similar.
• ITIL v4 certification or equivalent hands-on ITSM experience.
• Experience managing large MSP contracts and vendor performance.
• Background in regulated pharma/life sciences, including GxP and CSV.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to mentor junior architects and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP Batch Release Hub.
• Knowledge of GxP environments and quality and clinical processes.
• ITIL expertise beyond certification.

Architecture Expertise:

• Design standards-based solutions in complex, multi-product enterprise environments.
• Lead architecture reviews, technology piloting, and technical debt management.
• Manage reference architectures, data modeling, integration pathways, and NFRs.

Delivery & Service Management:

• Lead operational service delivery, incident/problem/change management, and SLA tracking.
• Manage multi-million Managed Service Provider (MSP) contracts and vendor performance.

Domain & Compliance:

• Work in GxP environments with Computer System Validation (CSV).
• Involved in enterprise ERP implementations, including SAP Batch Release Hub (nice to have).

General:

• Communicate complex architectural and operational concepts to executives and teams.
• Negotiate operational trade-offs balancing architectural purity, delivery speed, cost, and service stability.
• Ensure alignment between IT roadmaps, business capabilities, and service operations.
• Oversee End-to-End Service Governance and act as incident escalation point, driving continuous service improvement.
