Senior Go Engineer (Colibrix Partners)

Colibrix One develops advanced, AI-powered payment technologies for Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs), and neobanks across the EU and the UK. It operates as a fully licensed Electronic Money Institution with FCA and MFSA licenses, and is a principal member of VISA and Mastercard. The company provides solutions including global card processing, digital wallet infrastructure, cross-border merchant accounts, alternative payment methods, and corporate accounts.

• 3–5 years of Go backend development experience, with about 3 years in fintech applications
• Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, API design including REST/RPC transports
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, message brokers like Kafka and NATS, and caching systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD, preferably GitLab
• Experience with the AWS cloud platform
• Strong communication skills in English and Russian (written and spoken)
• Security-by-design mindset and knowledge of fintech regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS and GDPR
• Experience in performance optimization and building high-availability systems
• Experience with observability tools: logging, metrics, tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
• Ability to collaborate and contribute technical expertise within a team

• Design and develop Go services for card lifecycle, wallets, fees, authorisation, and clearing flows focusing on stability and fault tolerance
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications including API design, data models, and external integrations
• Build solutions compliant with PCI DSS and secure data handling and inter-service communication
• Analyze and optimize service performance including concurrency, profiling, and network interactions
• Participate in microservices architecture decisions: service boundaries, communication patterns, load balancing, error handling, and data storage
• Produce maintainable and testable code with appropriate unit and integration testing
• Conduct code reviews evaluating implementations and providing constructive feedback
• Contribute to technical discussions and propose practical solutions within current architecture
