Azure (Hybrid) Platform Engineer/Architect

ITFS is hiring for a role focused on architecture and platform development in Microsoft Azure environments including Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local, supported by expertise in hybrid cloud solutions.

• Minimum 7 years of general IT/infrastructure experience.
• 4-5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including design, implementation, or maintenance of hybrid environments.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure Stack Hub, Azure Local, and Azure Public Cloud.
• Practical experience with Azure services: App Service, WebJobs, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL.
• Advanced Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD skills with PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of information security and compliance requirements and ability to produce technical documentation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to diagnose complex incidents.
• English language proficiency at minimum C1 level for fluent work in an international environment.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of German language.
• Experience in automotive or financial industry.
• Experience with MS .NET applications and multilayer architectures.
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, and Hybrid Cloud.

• Design, advise, and optimize platforms in Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local, including deployment of new services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and ARM templates for Infrastructure as Code automation.
• Manage deployments, repositories, and pipelines within Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Team Projects).
• Conduct technical assessments of applications/databases prior to migration and develop migration strategies with rollback plans.
• Provide 3rd level support by resolving critical incidents, root cause analysis, and documentation of architecture, operations, and Disaster Recovery processes.
