Business Analyst (banking)

Senior Business Analyst position focused on long-term cooperation developing digital banking for companies in one of Poland's largest banks. The role involves collaboration on remote channels and customer experience in business banking, including commercial and corporate banking products such as payments, accounts, cards, loans, system integrations, and digital onboarding.

• Minimum 5 years experience as Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role
• Higher education in computer science, finance, economics, management, or related fields
• Experience in commercial, corporate, investment, retail banking, fintech sector, or payments
• Knowledge of digital banking platforms for corporate clients including web and mobile front-ends, back-end systems, central systems, and API/Open Banking integrations
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum: backlog creation, refinement, sprint planning, and UAT coordination
• Skills in analyzing and documenting complex business and functional requirements using tools like Jira and Confluence
• Experience modeling BPMN processes, designing customer journeys, and working with architects and UX/UI designers
• Experience defining UAT, creating end-to-end test scenarios, managing defect lifecycle, and obtaining business acceptance for deployments
• Knowledge of corporate banking regulations, risk management, security, AML/KYC areas
• Ability to use data analytics and customer feedback to formulate product recommendations
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration with business, IT, compliance, and legal areas
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model at client offices in multiple Polish cities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and client segment owners to gather functional and non-functional requirements
• Analyze customer behavior data, feedback, and liaise directly with customer representatives
• Analyze market trends and product usage data to improve requirements and validate new product hypotheses
• Model business processes As-Is and To-Be for corporate banking processes, identifying automation and optimization opportunities
• Translate strategic goals and high-level product initiatives into complete digital user journeys, epics, and detailed user stories
• Actively participate in backlog refinement and support Product Owner in prioritization
• Work closely with UX/UI designers, architects, system analysts, and solution delivery teams
• Define integration requirements between electronic channels, transactional systems, central systems, and external solutions
• Design UAT approaches, test plans, and end-to-end scenarios
• Prepare test cases and expected results
• Organize and coordinate UAT execution
• Manage defects discovered during testing and collaborate with development teams for resolution
• Identify risks, dependencies, and impediments affecting sprint and release delivery
• Prepare clear communication on work progress, functional decisions, risks, and dependencies
• Cooperate with technology partners, vendors, legal teams, and compliance
