Cloud/DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

emagine is looking for a Cloud DevOps Solution Engineer to support an agile DevOps team in designing, developing, and operating modern cloud-based software solutions, working closely with product management, customers, and external partners.

• Successfully completed (technical) university degree (Master or Diploma) in computer science, business informatics, or comparable IT solution design qualification
• Experience in development and operation of modern cloud-based software solutions
• Several years of relevant professional experience in IT solution design, implementation via agile methods, operation, and monitoring of complex IT solutions
• Practical experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON, CI/CD, and common programming languages such as Python and Angular
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Broad IT knowledge

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Linux and Windows servers
• Experience with Apache, Tomcat, and Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
• Experience with SSL certificates
• Experience with database management systems (DBMS)
• Experience with test automation
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD

• Collaborate on the design and alignment of technical product specifications with product management, customers, and external companies
• Develop technical concepts, solutions, and principles based on product specifications
• Participate in the agile DevOps team to develop or enhance software/products according to specifications and concepts
• Document technical measures performed
• Ensure operation of modules, products, systems, and IT applications at the customer's site within the agile DevOps team
• Create test specifications and conduct verification activities according to guidelines

The position requires working at least 3 days per week on-site at the customer's location in Lübeck. The start date is immediate. Data processing and administration information is provided in compliance with recruitment process regulations.
