SW Engineer

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience developing and implementing backend applications and microservices.
• Experience writing, modifying, and reviewing code for commercial or end-user applications.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and service-to-service integrations.
• Experience debugging distributed applications and root cause analysis.
• Experience developing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Experience integrating systems using APIs, messaging systems, and databases.
• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deploying backend services.
• Experience applying secure coding practices and regulatory compliance.

Nice to have:

• 2+ years of backend or microservices development experience, especially with Java.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and resilient microservices.
• Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous processing, event-driven architectures.
• Experience with relational databases; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Experience with containerized applications and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience using AI-powered coding tools.
• Experience optimizing backend services for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Experience with observability, production support, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Write, modify, and review high-quality, testable, and efficient code across back-end and data layers.
• Integrate systems via APIs, messaging queues, and databases.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and large-scale data processing jobs using appropriate frameworks and cloud services.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests focusing on automation.
• Maintain CI pipelines to run tests automatically upon code commits.
• Debug and perform root cause analysis on issues using AI-driven tools and enforce code quality gates.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines; package and deploy applications using containerization and orchestration tools.
• Monitor applications in production using observability tools; investigate incidents and implement fixes.
• Optimize code for performance, cost efficiency, and maintainability.
• Apply secure coding practices, manage secrets, validate inputs, ensure robust authentication and authorization.
• Comply with regulatory standards and maintain documentation for audits.
• Work at least 3 days per week in the office (hybrid work mode).
