Valuation & Financial Modeling Expert (she/he/they)

The role is offered by one of the largest companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW), belonging to the WIG20 index, and operating the largest convenience store chain in Central Europe.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, M&A, Transaction Services, or Equity Research.
• Proven experience building advanced financial models and preparing business cases.
• Strong knowledge of valuation methods (DCF, comparative analysis, scenario analysis).
• Good understanding of income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and value creation mechanisms.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and experience building financial models from scratch.
• Ability to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with management.
• Very good English language skills.

Nice to have:

• Qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalents.
• Experience in public companies, investment funds, investment banking, or consulting firms.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SAP, Snowflake, and basic SQL.

• Develop and maintain long-term financial models supporting strategic planning.
• Build and improve advanced financial models including forecasts of results, cash flows, and value creation for shareholders.
• Prepare business cases for strategic initiatives, investments, and development projects.
• Analyze business scenarios and assess the impact of key decisions on Group results.
• Prepare valuations of projects, assets, and strategic initiatives.
• Verify and challenge business assumptions used in financial models.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning processes.
• Prepare materials, analyses, and recommendations for management.
• Collaborate with Strategy, M&A, Controlling, Accounting, Tax, Consolidation teams, and business units.
• Develop financial modeling standards and leverage modern analytical tools and AI in finance.
