Java Developer (banking)

Join the team of one of the largest Polish banks to develop key systems based on hexagonal architecture, DDD, and newly created microservices using Java 11+, Spring Boot 3.5+, and Kafka. The team emphasizes clean code, high standards, and modern tools supporting software developers.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Experience and knowledge of Java 11+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot 3.5+, JPA / Hibernate, Hazelcast / Redis.
• Knowledge of microservice and hexagonal architectures.
• Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Familiarity with design patterns and integration patterns.
• Understanding of best practices: SOLID, DRY, KISS.
• Experience designing and using integration interfaces: REST, SOAP, Apache Kafka.
• Very good knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Ability to write various types of tests (unit, integration).
• Knowledge of tools and methods for diagnosing and optimizing application performance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and development environment tools: Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Ability to effectively use AI tools in daily software development.
• Basic understanding of banking and financial sector concepts.
• Proficiency in Polish and English allowing fluent communication (minimum B2 level).
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model at client offices in cities matching candidate's residence: Warsaw, Łódź, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Poznań, Kraków, Lublin, Szczecin.

• Write high-quality code.
• Design and document technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing.
• Collaborate with business analysts, IT architects, and business clients.

Position requires hybrid work in client offices located in Warsaw, Łódź, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Poznań, Kraków, Lublin, or Szczecin, matching candidate residence. Polish and English language proficiency at minimum B2 level is required for fluent communication.
