QA Engineer

Pirxey is a group of over 100 experienced programmers with 5-10 years of experience in software development. They work remotely primarily with fast-growing, ambitious international brands from the USA, Israel, and other countries. The company acts not only as a software house but also as a partner and advisor in product building, focusing on delivering solutions that succeed through business know-how.

• Practical knowledge of the testing process and QA role in the development cycle
• Ability to create clear and maintainable test cases
• Experience with test management tools (e.g. Qase, TestRail) and bug reporting
• Basic API testing skills using Postman, Swagger, and proficient use of DevTools
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on risk and user impact
• English language proficiency at least B2 for documentation and team communication

Nice to have:

• Experience with SaaS or products with complex user flows and external system integrations
• Basic SQL, accessibility testing, test matrix/traceability knowledge
• Initial experience with test automation tools (e.g. Playwright)
• ISTQB certification or IT education

• Analyze requirements, acceptance criteria, graphic designs, and risks
• Use programming assistants from CLI tools (e.g. Claude Code CLI, Codex CLI)
• Create and maintain test cases and scenarios (functional, user flow, regression)
• Perform functional, integration, acceptance, regression, and exploratory testing
• Verify application performance across devices, browsers, resolutions, UI compliance, and UX assessment
• Analyze application behavior using DevTools and APIs
• Report bugs clearly and reproducibly
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and QA teams
• Identify gaps, risks, and inconsistencies in requirements
• Participate in improving QA processes and organizing test repositories
• Support the development of test automation
