Software Engineer (Python OR Go)

Softeta is a software engineering partner for finance, energy, industrial, and other high-stakes sectors. They build and modernise backend-heavy, integration-critical systems where speed, accuracy, security, and reliability are essential. Their team consists of 100+ AI and custom software experts across engineering hubs in Lithuania and Poland. Their clients include SEB, NordVPN, and CarVertical.

• Strong backend development experience with Python or Go, or substantial web scraping expertise.
• Knowledge of web scraping, parsing, and headless browsers.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or similar databases.
• Practical experience with AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Independent ownership, clear communication, and a pragmatic approach to delivery.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, Airflow, Dagster, or Spark.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Camoufox, or cloud infrastructure.

• Build scalable crawlers, scrapers, and parsers handling millions of requests.
• Own client projects from requirements to dataset delivery.
• Write reusable Python or Go code using AI-assisted development tools.
• Integrate scraping solutions with databases and data pipelines.
• Review code, troubleshoot issues, and adapt solutions as requirements evolve.
