Engineering Manager

NOVOVISION is a casino management system serving dozens of clients in the gaming industry. The company is in a key growth phase, scaling delivery capabilities, stabilizing the product, and undertaking a significant technological transformation.

• Higher technical education in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in software engineering
• At least 3 years working in product or project IT/Software Development environment
• Proficient in English communication (minimum B1/B2 level)
• Strong technical experience
• Experience managing engineering teams including team building, people development, evaluations, and recruitment
• Ability to enforce standards and lead technical discussions such as code review, managing technical debt, and solution quality
• Ability to balance technical quality with delivery timeliness

Nice to have:

• Experience in the gaming industry or regulated on-premise software environments
• Knowledge of software deployments integrated with hardware
• Experience working with distributed teams

• Enforcing code standards and good engineering practices
• Supervising the code review process
• Ensuring high technical quality of solutions
• Reducing and controlling technical debt
• Collaborating with Architects on key technical decisions
• Identifying and escalating technological risks

Wsparcie delivery i organizacji pracy:

• Collaborating with Product Owners and Project Managers to ensure smooth workflow
• Supporting planning of team capacity
• Signaling overloads and delivery risks
• Working with the team to create realistic estimations
