Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner - eFX trading

VISTULO is hiring a Senior Business Analyst/Consultant to own Foreign Exchange product delivery end-to-end for a top North American bank. The role involves working on an in-house-built electronic FX platform that covers client-facing FX execution, payments, and real-world channels like FX withdrawals from ATMs.

Must have:

• 10+ years capital markets experience focusing on FX
• Deep electronic FX domain experience including hands-on knowledge of spot, forward, swap, window forward, window forward swaps, NDFs
• Strong understanding of full FX trade lifecycle: pricing, hedging, settlement, payments
• Experience in electronic FX trading platforms, OMS, pricing/hedging engines, risk management, or trade capture platforms
• Hands-on experience with FIX protocol, REST APIs, message-based integrations
• Experience integrating multibank portals like Bloomberg FXGO, FXall, 360T, Refinitiv, FX Connect, and liquidity providers
• Strong business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process design, writing BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and leading projects end-to-end
• Product roadmap, backlog management, and prioritization skills
• Data mapping, feed validation, trade reconciliation, and root cause analysis
• Hands-on UAT planning, regression, and end-to-end trade lifecycle testing
• Flexibility between agile and waterfall methodologies
• Excellent communication across Trading, Sales, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology

Nice to have:

• Experience with API onboarding or venue certification
• Prior experience with Murex, Calypso, or WSS
• SQL and hands-on data analysis
• Experience with Postman, Swagger for API testing
• Experience using AI tools to speed up requirements, testing, or delivery

• Own end-to-end delivery for an in-house-built FX platform serving internal/external clients and a wholesale pricing engine
• Analyze and scope new client requirements from initial ask to production release
• Support client onboarding and FX/API setup
• Manage work across multiple channels and drive enhancements
• Write BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and drive requirements through build, integration, and release
• Run end-to-end trade lifecycle testing and confirm accurate client reconciliation
• Collaborate closely with engineering and stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Operations, Risk, and Compliance
• Provide occasional support outside trading hours mainly for Asia-hours issues
• Use AI tools to accelerate requirements, testing, or delivery where appropriate

Only open to residents of Poland and Romania with legal permission to work there. Requires 2-3 hour daily overlap with US Eastern business hours; occasional off-hours support may be needed. Successful candidates must pass a standard background check.
