Golang Developer (Mid/Senior) – 100% remote

Optineo is the recruiting company for a client with own brands and products (not a software house or outsourcing). The client has market-leading products and multiple Go teams working on large-scale systems. The technologies include Go (main service language), Kafka for event streams, transactional and analytical databases, and for data science teams, Python and Java with AI programming tools.

• Practical and strong knowledge of Go.
• Experience with backend systems running in production.
• Ability to diagnose slow database queries both in transactional and analytical databases.
• Write testable code maintainable by others in the long term.

Nice to have:

• Experience with high-traffic systems and strict latency limits, profiling in Go.
• Basic knowledge of Python or Java.
• Programming with AI agents.

• Develop auction engines in Go (real-time bidding logic and behavior during traffic spikes).
• Profile, measure, and remove bottlenecks to achieve millisecond response times and validate improvements in production.
• Design event flow and data format between services to handle system load.
• Deliver data supporting company decisions.
• Collaborate with data scientists integrating their models with your Go code.
• Propose, justify, and implement architectural solutions.
