Data & Analytics Consultant / Analyst for the Resources Industry - ICH Europe

Accenture is a leading global professional services company offering solutions across Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Operations, Industry X and Accenture Song. The Intelligent Consulting Hub (ICH) Energy Team provides industry-specific business and technology consulting services in Energy Downstream, Upstream, Fuel Retail, and Utilities. This team focuses on combining data analytics tools with state-of-the-art system infrastructure to build the intelligent enterprise for clients in the Resources industry.

• Experience in the Resources industry (e.g., Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Utilities, Chemicals, Natural Resources, Mining).
• Understanding of the IT landscape relevant to their business expertise.
• Several years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Visualization, or Data Migration specific to industry data.
• Knowledge of solution design, testing, project management, and data management concepts.
• Skills in areas such as Big Data, BI, Data Warehousing, Data Science, Data Management, Data Storage, Data Visualization, Data Migration, Data Modelling, or Data Governance.
• Knowledge of major cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a strong asset.
• Understanding of AI and willingness to grow expertise and apply it in an industry context.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills (minimum C1 level).
• Proficiency (C1) in an additional language, preferably German or French, is highly valued.

Nice to have:

• Some programming knowledge (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Experience with agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) and certifications (Prince2, PMP, PSM, CSM).
• Experience working with SAP data platforms (SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere).

• Engage clients to deliver end-to-end industry-specific advisory, including requirements gathering, solution building, demos, trainings, and adoption support.
• Handle structured and unstructured data from diverse sources to identify business value creation opportunities.
• Perform data engineering and architecture tasks using cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and SAP BW.
• Conduct data analysis and transformation using tools such as SQL, Spark, pandas, Python, and R.
• Translate data into business insights through Business Intelligence and visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Contribute to broader Accenture and client initiatives beyond Data & Analytics.
