Technology Strategy Consultant (ITFM FinOps) - ICH Europe

Accenture is a global professional services company helping businesses and governments build digital capabilities, optimize operations, and create value. The role is within the Intelligent Consulting Hub, part of Europe Strategy & Consulting practice, operating from key locations in Poland including Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź, and Gdańsk. The team serves multinational clients, delivering technology strategy and advisory services focused on technology transformation and financial management.

• 2-5 years of experience in IT Finance, TBM, FinOps, or related areas
• Understanding of IT cost structures, budgeting, forecasting, and IT finance processes
• Experience in consulting, transformation projects, or cross-functional environments
• Ability to connect business, finance, and technology perspectives
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Analytical thinking and ability to structure complex problems
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (storytelling and structured analysis)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM) or FinOps frameworks
• Exposure to tools such as Apptio or other IT cost management solutions
• Experience in designing cost allocation models
• Familiarity with cloud cost management concepts
• Relevant certifications (e.g. FinOps, TBM)

• Support IT Finance, TBM, and FinOps transformations for large organizations
• Conduct assessments of IT cost transparency and IT financial management maturity
• Define actionable improvement roadmaps
• Design and improve IT cost models, service costing, and allocation mechanisms (showback/chargeback)
• Help implement or optimize tools like Apptio for better visibility and governance
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across IT and Finance to align priorities and solutions
• Translate complex financial and technology data into clear insights and recommendations
• Support development of governance, processes, and ways of working in IT Finance/FinOps areas
• Engage in a strategic, client-facing role shaping technology value management

• Willingness and ability to travel and work at client locations mostly across Europe and beyond is required
