Junior Java Developer

Jit Team is a Polish IT company employing over 700 experienced experts, creating specialized teams for global clients. They have a long-term partnership with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, delivering over 60 projects with more than 200 personnel involved. The client operates in the financial sector with a global presence and emphasizes Scandinavian organizational culture, work-life balance, and international teams with English language use.

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency in Java 21+ and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSON, XML)
• Strong experience in REST and SOAP API design and development
• Good understanding of unit, component, and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git), build tools (Maven), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Basic knowledge of SQL; familiarity with Kafka and Kubernetes is an advantage
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices supporting credit risk, recommendation, and credit scoring products
• Design and develop REST and SOAP APIs for internal and external integrations
• Build robust calculation engines compliant with credit scoring and recommendation regulations across multiple countries
• Develop and maintain integrations with external credit authorities
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate closely with business analysts to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Work in a Scrum team within an agile environment
