Data Engineer / Data Scientist (AI & LLM Solutions) Expert

GFT Poland is a stable company with 32 years on the market, working on demanding projects for major financial institutions worldwide. The role is within the Transaction Monitoring area of the Anti-Financial Crime Division for a UK banking client, focusing on advanced analytics and intelligent automation.

• Minimum 5–6 years of commercial experience in similar roles
• Very good knowledge of Python 3.x
• Experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
• Practical experience within the Big Data ecosystem
• Experience in developing analytical or alerting models
• Solid understanding of data pipelines and scalable data architectures
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and AI agent development
• Knowledge of LLMs and Generative AI (prompt engineering, orchestration, evaluation)
• Experience with Spark (Big Data / Streaming)
• Data analysis skills including business and functional design
• English level B2+
• Experience in Machine Learning (Supervised & Unsupervised Learning)
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLM)
• Experience with Generative Models (GANs, Variational Autoencoders – VAE)

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial services or transaction monitoring
• Experience in Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) domain
• Experience working in regulated environments

• Implement data processing pipelines using Python and PySpark
• Develop supervised and unsupervised machine learning models
• Build and evaluate LLM-based and Generative AI solutions (prompting, orchestration, evaluation)
• Develop analytical and alerting models for financial crime detection
• Perform business-oriented data analysis and functional design
• Work within the Big Data ecosystem to process and transform large datasets
• Optimize distributed data processing jobs (Spark)
