AML/Transaction Monitoring Analyst - ICH Europe

Accenture is a leading global professional services company offering solutions across Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Operations, Industry X and Accenture Song. The role is within the CFO&EV team in Strategy & Consulting / Intelligent Consulting Hub Europe, working on risk management projects for clients globally, focusing on financial crime and regulatory compliance.

• Minimum 6 months of risk management experience in Financial Crime
• Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end transaction monitoring, event-driven investigations, and handling complex case escalations
• Solid understanding of EU/US AML regulations, sanctions, PEP frameworks, and 5th/6th Anti-Money Laundering Directives
• Proven ability to draft, review, and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) or Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs)
• Ability to conduct in-depth analysis of large volumes of transaction data to identify ML, FT, and PF threats
• Familiarity with transaction monitoring systems, rule management, and scenario-based monitoring
• Experience in assessing quality, completeness, and defensibility of investigations
• Knowledge of operational procedures and data management in risk areas
• Proficient in English and either German, Spanish, or French (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Digitally savvy with knowledge of Excel, VBA, SQL
• Industry certifications such as CAMS, ICA

• Performing risk activities within the financial crime area, including Business-as-Usual operational tasks
• Acting as a risk management analyst working with global teams to develop industry-leading solutions
• Shaping thought capital around current and emerging risk management topics
• Using analytical and quantitative skills to clarify complex issues and provide data and model-driven insights
• Helping clients use technological innovations such as Big Data, Cloud Solutions, Robotics, AI, and Machine Learning to enhance risk management
• Working across a dynamic, international team with English as the common language
• Willingness and ability to work at client locations mostly across Europe and other locations for short or long term
