DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes / Platform)

• 3+ years of professional experience in the DevOps area
• Strong hands on experience with CI/CD tools and processes (Jenkins, GitLab, Jira, Git), containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
• Ability to work with a wide range of open source technologies and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with GitOps approach and ArgoCD
• Hands on experience onboarding Spring Boot and frontend applications to Kubernetes

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of programming or scripting (at least one of: Java, Bash, Python)
• Strong communication skills, team player mindset, willingness to learn and collaborate, and focus on successful delivery

• Work closely with application teams to onboard applications and document internal and external interface requirements for Development, Testing and Production environments running on Kubernetes
• Implement application specific middleware requirements, ensuring proper integration across components within the provided TI environment
• Provide technical guidance to application teams on leveraging cloud technologies and implementing cloud infrastructure, in coordination with other DevOps staff
• Prepare environments for application implementation using scripting and automation
• Co-create and manage application deployment processes
• Work with development teams in accordance with Agile methodologies
• Cooperate with other IT departments (e.g. Security, Middleware, Linux teams) and participate in change management processes
