Senior/Lead QA with French (Insurance)

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead QA Engineer with strong French language skills and a solid background in the insurance domain. In this role, you will take ownership of quality assurance processes, lead testing activities, collaborate closely with French-speaking business stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions within a regulated environment.

• Fluent French (spoken and written) – absolute must.
• Proven experience as Senior or Lead QA Engineer.
• Strong background in the insurance industry (claims, policies, underwriting, or similar business areas).
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC.
• Experience in both manual and (preferably) automated testing.
• Hands-on with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr or equivalents.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience building or maintaining automated test suites.
• Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
• Previous experience in a distributed or international environment.

• Lead end-to-end QA processes across projects within the insurance domain.
• Communicate and collaborate daily with French-speaking teams, product owners, and business users.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Drive quality standards, best practices, and testing methodologies across the team.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Ensure requirements quality and clarity through proactive engagement with stakeholders.
• Identify defects, document findings, and support development teams through resolution.
• Mentor and support junior QA engineers, take ownership of QA processes, and contribute to continuous improvement.
