Software Frontend Engineer (React, Angular or Vue)

Verita HR is an international company providing recruitment support within Fintech, Finance and Banking markets in EMEA. The role is for a client which is a lead international bank. The project involves improving engineering quality across the Software Security platform, delivering secure, maintainable frontend solutions, moving from vendor platforms to a custom open-source architecture on GCP with a focus on security at the edge.

• Advanced proficiency in at least one modern frontend ecosystem (React, Angular, or Vue) with the ability to justify architectural choices
• Proven experience identifying and mitigating frontend vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, and supply-chain risks
• Experience integrating frontend architectures with GCP-based microservices using type-safe APIs (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC)
• Strong TypeScript skills, including unit and end-to-end testing (Cypress, Playwright) and CI/CD integration
• Ability to design solutions that improve performance, security, and delivery efficiency
• Experience mentoring others and promoting best practices across teams

• Build and deliver production-ready frontend features using React, Angular, or Vue, with modern rendering approaches such as SSR, SSG, and React Server Components
• Develop secure UI solutions, including authentication flows based on OAuth2/OpenID Connect
• Implement security best practices such as Content Security Policy, secure cookies, and protection against XSS, CSRF, and clickjacking
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services on GCP using REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs
• Write clean TypeScript code supported by automated tests and CI/CD pipelines
• Translate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to improve code quality and delivery standards
