The team develops products focused on security, reliability, and scalability, supporting infrastructure to applications and hardware. The role involves working with developers, businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies to leverage Google Cloud's technology for digital transformation.


Wymagania

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience reading or debugging code in Java, C, C++, software framework, Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript.
  • Experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices.
  • Experience with packet capture/analysis, artificial packet creation, load testing, and traffic path analysis for network performance troubleshooting.
  • Experience with cloud solutions such as SQL database administration, Google App Engine, open source software communities, cloud networking solutions, or distributed computing technology.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Peering, Load Balancing).
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix system/network administration.
  • Knowledge of basic web technologies (HTTP, HTML, DNS, TCP).

Obowiązki

  • Manage customer problems through diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of investigation tools for Google Cloud Platform products.
  • Develop knowledge of Google's product technology and architectures by troubleshooting and building tools for faster diagnosis.
  • Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
  • Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams to improve the product.
  • Work as part of a global team providing 24-hour customer support, including non-standard work hours or shifts as needed.
