Data Analyst

They have a long-standing relationship with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, delivering over 60 projects with more than 200 personnel involved. The client is a Norwegian major provider of financial services with a global presence, emphasizing Scandinavian culture, work-life balance, and international teams with English language exposure.

• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in financial or regulatory data projects
• Proven experience with large data sets and advanced SQL
• Hands-on experience with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and balance sheet structures, including financial instruments
• Experience in data documentation, data governance, or regulatory data obligations
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive stakeholder discussions
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)

• Handling and harmonizing large financial data sets across multiple systems
• Designing and documenting data structures and ETL flows within and across applications
• Contributing to end-to-end functional design of reporting and control solutions
• Documenting metadata including data lineage, assumptions, regulatory purpose, and reporting framework
• Supporting analysis, reporting, and sign-off processes for regulatory and financial data
• Leading discussions with business and technical stakeholders to define and clarify requirements
• Utilizing AI solutions to improve efficiency and propose new data-related use cases
• Working with tasks and documentation in JIRA
