Software Engineer III, BigQuery, Router

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software programming in C++.
• Experience in network protocols.
• Experience in low latency networking and high performance computing.
• Experience in distributed computing and parallel computing.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with different network protocols.
• Experience building high load and high performant systems.
• Experience working as or with Site Reliability Engineers.

• Build Google-scale systems that never fail and manage millions of Queries Per Second (QPS) with the lowest possible latency.
• Work in a small and focused team with substantial technical impact and influence on engineering directions.
• Collaborate across many teams within BigQuery and generic Google services.
• Work closely with BigQuery Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and Leads from various domains.
