Security Generalist - Cybersecurity Engineering Team

As a Security Generalist at T-Mobile, you will play a key role in ensuring that security processes and systems are thoroughly documented and that technical teams are well-informed about security requirements. You will work closely with various technical teams to help them understand and implement security best practices, ensuring compliance with security policies.

• Broad understanding of technical security concepts, including network security, application security, and data protection.
• Strong skills in creating and managing comprehensive documentation with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in English at B2/C1 level (Stanag 3,3,3,3).
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security issues.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:

• Relevant security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the telecommunications or IT industry.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., CIS Controls) and experience with security tools and technologies.

• Design, implement, and manage security controls and processes to protect systems and data.
• Collaborate with IT, cloud, and development teams to integrate security best practices into all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Lead the process of documenting information about systems and services, ensuring all security-related aspects are accurately captured and maintained.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, audit processes, evidence, and guidelines.
• Assist technical teams in implementing security requirements and maintaining related documentation to ensure ongoing compliance and security integrity.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
