Senior Data Engineer

Jit Team is a Polish company employing over 700 experienced experts, creating specialized teams for clients worldwide. They have a long-term partnership with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, engaging over 200 personnel in more than 60 projects for this Norwegian financial services provider. The client emphasizes Scandinavian culture, work-life balance, and international teams with daily English communication.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering and implementation of data pipelines
• Experience with data modeling and designing structured data solutions
• Strong understanding of relational data storage, especially SQL Server
• Proficiency in SQL and database programming (T-SQL, PL/SQL or similar)
• Hands-on experience with building ETL pipelines and understanding data processing workflows
• Experience working with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Understanding of APIs and their role in data integration
• Knowledge of data architecture and awareness of broader data landscape within organizations
• Ability to work with multiple data technologies and adapt to different environments
• Strong communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with DB2
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake
• Experience working with object storage solutions like Amazon S3
• Understanding of modern data ecosystems and integration patterns

• Design and build robust ETL pipelines
• Support data integration across multiple applications within a distributed enterprise environment
• Ensure efficient data flow, consistency, and accessibility
• Contribute to scalable and maintainable data architecture
• Collaborate closely with various teams to support data sharing initiatives
