Cloud Engineer (f/m/x)

For our client, a global financial institution, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to lead the development of cloud-native solutions within an international environment. You will oversee a team of cloud engineers, shape the cloud adoption strategy, and drive best‑in‑class engineering practices across the organization.

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience with strong expertise in public cloud technologies
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Technical Lead within cloud-native or platform engineering environments
• Solid knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerization
• Experience building secure, scalable, and highly available systems in enterprise environments, including hybrid cloud models
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment
• Openness to hybrid work from the Warsaw office
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required

• Manage the development and maintenance of standardized, reusable cloud patterns and solutions
• Guide and support a team of skilled cloud engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence, teamwork, and ongoing development
• Collaborate with development teams to support cloud migrations and build cloud‑native applications on AWS and hybrid environments
• Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for developers transitioning to the public cloud
• Define and prioritize product features aligned with business and engineering objectives
• Implement and advocate for architectural best practices, ensuring high availability, resiliency, scalability, and security
