Applied Machine Learning Researcher (f/m/x)

For our client in the banking industry, we are seeking an Applied Machine Learning Researcher who will join a high-impact Applied AI research team.

In this role, you will play a key part in driving the adoption of cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning technologies across the organization. You will work on impactful initiatives that combine research and practical implementation, helping solve complex and unique challenges present within the financial domain.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an AI/ ML Researcher or in a similar role
• Solid experience in AI/ML domains, such as machine learning, deep learning, NLP, information retrieval, time series, or recommender systems
• Strong programming skills and the ability to write production-ready code
• Proven background in researching, prototyping, and evaluating AI/ML solutions
• Experience working with complex data challenges in regulated industries (finance experience is a plus)
• Openness to hybrid work from the Warsaw office
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve and scale production machine learning systems and applications
• Design, prototype, and evaluate AI/ML-driven software solutions
• Build, validate, and maintain robust, production-quality code
• Develop libraries and frameworks that enable reliable, well-tested systems
• Demonstrate technical leadership by managing cross‑team initiatives
• Represent the company at industry conferences and within open‑source communities
