The Simulation Services (SIMS) unit is part of Engineering Services and Experience (ESE) within Engineering Unit RAN Software & Compute Platforms (RCE). SIMS provides simulators for product development in Business Area Networks, used for product verification instead of real mobile phones and core networks. The team in Kraków will develop a powerful UE Simulator for 6G and later be the core team for the 6G UE simulator development.
Wymagania
- MSc or BSc in Telecommunications, Electronics, or IT
- Knowledge of embedded programming, ideally in telecom
- Good software engineering skills with ability to write high-quality code in C++ and Python
- Knowledge of DPDK
- Proficiency in L2 Protocols: Medium Access Control (MAC), Logical Link Control (LLC), Radio Link Control (RLC)
- Knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills

- Be part of an agile team contributing to Layer 2 development of a UE Simulator
- Work in a technical area supporting Ericsson internal users with a product for 6G
- Drive innovation and implement new insights
- Participate in analysis, system design, pre-development, and incremental implementation with short feedback loops
