Azure AI Architect

Pretius is seeking an Azure AI Architect to work in an international team delivering projects in the financial sector.

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Practical skills in building systems using Azure AI Services, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure OpenAI.
• Proficiency in IaC tools (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes, DevOps, and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
• Expert knowledge in security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
• Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies and leading cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to business stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to Dublin 1–2 times per quarter.

Nice to have:

• Microsoft certification at Azure Solutions Architect Expert level.
• Azure AI Engineer Associate or Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
• Project experience with clients in the financial, medical, or TMT sectors.

• Designing and overseeing AI and Machine Learning architecture solutions based on Azure Machine Learning and Azure OpenAI.
• Leading enterprise-class implementations, with a focus on integration with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and external systems.
• Defining architectural strategies and standards for modern cloud and AI solutions across the organization.
• Supervising security, compliance, and scalability of designed systems.
• Automating deployments and managing infrastructure using IaC solutions and CI/CD processes.
• Transforming business needs into scalable IT solutions and presenting architectural decisions in the context of their business value to management.
• Leading teams of architects and engineers through mentoring, coaching, and technical project reviews.
• Building lasting client relationships and supporting sales and presales processes by creating estimates and reference architectures.
