Operations Engineer

Jit Team is a Polish company employing over 700 experienced experts, creating highly specialised teams for clients worldwide. They have a long-term partnership with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, engaging over 200 personnel in more than 60 projects for this Norwegian financial services provider. The client emphasizes Scandinavian culture, work-life balance, and international teams with daily English language use.

• Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Good understanding of SQL and experience working with databases.
• Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong analytical and rational thinking skills.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Basic knowledge of software testing principles.
• Familiarity with Hadoop or other big data technologies.
• Experience working with Robot Framework.
• Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Helix.
• Basic knowledge of Python.

• Responsible for ingesting data onto Hadoop using ARC Ingestion Framework.
• Preparation and testing configuration for ingesting sources.
• Maintain sources already ingested on production.
