Dataplex Catalog is a Poland-based team building the core platform for metadata management to enable users to discover, search, and understand their data through metadata management. The role involves working on a greenfield project written in Kotlin, building the core platform for AI and Data Governance use cases. Google Cloud provides enterprise-grade solutions to help organizations digitally transform their business and industry.


Wymagania

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with full stack development, including back-end languages such as Kotlin, Java, Python, Golang, or C++, and front-end technologies including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Preferred: Experience in developing accessible technologies.
  • Preferred: Experience with data analytics, data processing, data warehouses, data lakes, and Business Intelligence (BI).

Obowiązki

  • Design, implement, and launch new products, features, and components with product excellence and technical quality.
  • Participate in monitoring and debugging efforts, support frequent releases.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables independently.
  • Communicate with other team members.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to assess incoming requests and manage escalations.
