Staff Software Engineer, Full-stack Order (AI Fluency)

• 8+ years of experience building software for high-traffic production environments with leadership at Staff or Principal level.
• Highly proficient in Golang; experience with Python or PHP is a plus.
• Expertise in designing high-throughput REST and gRPC APIs and distributed systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience designing testing strategies including Unit, Integration, and E2E automation for distributed environments.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience shipping large language models (LLMs) into production, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and AI output evaluation.
• Ability to identify and strategically address technical debt.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Proficient English communication skills (minimum B2 level).

Nice to have:

• Ability to solve novel problems without existing solutions.
• Full-stack flexibility including React and JavaScript.
• Experience designing scalable backends for Android apps.
• Practical experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, or similar event-driven architectures.
• Experience building trusted automated delivery pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Mentorship skills that improve team performance and retention.

• Own the architecture and roadmap for scalable systems to support significant growth and new product initiatives.
• Quickly become the go-to expert in new codebases and domains.
• Solve complex problems in distributed systems and develop executable plans.
• Contribute across the stack, including frontend, infrastructure, and AI features.
• Lead architectural decision records (ADRs), conduct high-level code reviews, and mentor team members.
• Prioritize product outcomes focusing on end-user experience and business metrics over technical purity.
