Business Analyst (Healthcare Information Systems)

• Proficient documentation skills including process mapping, requirements specification, and report writing.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and protocols.
• Experience collaborating with trainers and supporting training plan development.

• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

• Evaluate, document, and optimize existing healthcare information systems to align with organizational goals and clinical requirements.
• Collaborate with clinicians and stakeholders to understand and document clinical workflows, translating operational needs into technical requirements.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather business and functional requirements.
• Produce clear, comprehensive documentation for stakeholders and development teams.
• Communicate requirements, project updates, and technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Assist in developing training plans and schedules for super-users, administrators, and end-users.
• Analyze existing healthcare information systems to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, or regulatory alignment.
• Support project delivery including user acceptance testing and post-implementation review to confirm solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
