Senior Software Engineer, Flume ML

Google Cloud develops next-generation technologies impacting billions of users. The team in Warsaw manages a planet-scale data processing infrastructure product that supports AI/ML features for YouTube, Search, and next-generation AI initiatives. The role focuses on advancing schedulability and autotuning capabilities of data processing infrastructure to support large-scale ML pipelines and data workloads.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Experience with coding and software design.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Experience designing and implementing Machine Learning (ML) architectures.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience with data structures and algorithms.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale software solutions.
• Address technical challenges requiring significant expertise or spanning multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Work with mission critical customers on their schedulability challenges.
• Analyze performance data and design data driven solutions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to organizational success.
