Solution Architect

Hays IT Contracting provides B2B cooperation, matching IT specialists to leading technology projects. The role is based in Warsaw, in the telecommunications industry, with a hybrid work model (3 days per week in the office). The department develops and implements IT strategy and architecture standards, including automation, cloud services, and digital and business solutions for internal and external clients. Employment is permanent, not project-based.

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Solution Architect, System Analyst/Architect, or Enterprise Architect
• Knowledge of telecommunications standards (e.g., TMF Open API, TAM, SID) is highly desirable
• Familiarity with modern technologies such as microservices, REST API, containerization, AWS services, and private cloud integration
• Knowledge of architectural and design patterns
• Proficiency in documentation tools and notations (UML): static architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, data models
• Ability to use Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Git; Plant UML is a plus
• English language proficiency at minimum B2+ level

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of business processes in telecommunications
• Ability to use AI tools in daily work
• Programming experience, mainly Java stack

• Designing solutions enabling the full customer journey in systems operating on AWS public cloud and on-premises
• Developing solution concepts for selected backlog elements (Epic/Feature/Story), assessing technical feasibility in local IT systems and DT group systems, and decomposing work scope
• Creating documentation including architectural diagrams, flows, and solution descriptions according to organizational standards
• Ensuring solution compliance with the organization's architectural strategy
• Participating in initiatives implementing innovative functionalities in digital and traditional channels and their backends, using SAFE/Agile methodology, collaborating closely with Product Owner, analysts, architects, developers, and testers
