Senior Software Engineer (Python / React)

We are building a web-based platform that supports computational analysis of biomolecular data using high-performance computing (HPC) resources. The system enables users to transform biological sequences into structural models and analyze their physicochemical properties using advanced computational methods.

• 5+ years of experience building data-driven applications
• Strong frontend skills (TypeScript, React)
• Backend experience with Python (Django, Celery)
• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows (GitHub)
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with testing practices (pytest; e2e testing such as Playwright is a plus)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Ability to work iteratively in an agile, self-organized team

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a complex scientific web platform
• Design and implement new features end-to-end
• Collaborate with local and distributed engineering teams
• Work in a research-driven, fast-evolving environment
• Solve challenging engineering problems at the intersection of software and computational science
