UX/UI Designer

Hays IT Contracting operates on B2B collaboration principles, connecting top IT specialists with innovative technology projects. The role is within a team working on e-commerce and digital applications in the retail online sector, involving close cooperation with development teams and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in UX/UI design for applications or digital systems
• Experience designing e-commerce platforms
• Practice working with Design Systems (e.g., Figma, Storybook)
• Portfolio showcasing UX and UI projects
• Proficient with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Experience working in Agile methodologies

Nice to have:

• Relevant education (design, HCI, or related fields)
• Experience in retail or e-commerce projects
• Knowledge of user research methods and usability testing
• Understanding of digital accessibility (WCAG)
• Experience working in international, cross-functional teams

• Collaborate with product and technical teams to understand business goals, user needs, and technological constraints
• Design user interfaces for e-commerce applications and platforms (wireframes, prototypes, visual mockups)
• Create and maintain project documentation, specifications, and visual guidelines
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations
• Iterate designs based on feedback from users, development teams, and stakeholders
• Ensure design consistency with visual guidelines and design system
• Monitor UX/UI trends and new design technologies
