Software Engineer

apreel was founded in April 2010 by friends who dreamed of creating their own software house. With the company's growth and increasing client trust, it expanded its services to include IT expert leasing, which today is apreel's main business pillar. The founders continue to pursue their passion for creating proprietary IT solutions and aim for their continuous improvement.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JavaScript, Groovy, Python.
• Language skills: Polish, English, Italian, French.
• Desire to work on meaningful projects and take pride in code quality.
• Ability to accept feedback and share knowledge during Code Reviews.
• Capability to find efficient solutions to user requirements.
• Use data to support decision-making.
• Continuous learning and knowledge updating.
• Understanding of performance issues, their use, and implications for end users.

• Work with technologies including Java (8+), Scala, Kotlin, Groovy, Go, Python, Spring, Reactive Programming, Spark, Hadoop, Mesos, TensorFlow.
• Develop and maintain microservices (900+), handling scale of 60k+ requests per second, Big Data (several PB), and production Machine Learning.
• Follow practices such as Code Review, Continuous Integration, Scrum/Kanban, Domain Driven Design, Test Driven Development, Pair Programming.
• Utilize internal self-service ecosystem and tools: Marathon, Docker, Consul, Bitbucket, Bamboo for rapid project startup.
• Participate in knowledge sharing at conferences like Devoxx, GeeCon, JavaZone, KotlinConf, Confitura, Agile By Example, MesosCon, Atmosphere.
• Choose technology autonomously that fits the problem and take responsibility for it.
