Senior Technical Leader, EasySaaS

Google Cloud's EasySaaS team is building a core platform layer in GCP enabling teams to build managed SaaS services at scale. This platform supports internal and external SaaS producers to deploy, upgrade, and manage services automatically across Google Cloud Platform and other cloud environments. Google Cloud delivers enterprise-grade solutions to customers in over 200 countries and territories, helping organizations digitally transform their business and industry.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in C++, Java, and Go.
• 5 years of experience in designing scalable distributed systems and APIs.
• Experience in building available systems and designing for resilience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in delivering cloud-based products.

• Own the technical direction of a large part of EasySaaS driving architecture and external APIs.
• Ensure proper scalability and reliability for SaaS service producers deploying millions of instances.
• Provide technical oversight over project delivery and quality.
• Work with key stakeholders and customers internally and externally to translate needs into technical designs and roadmaps.
• Perform experiments with design and open source technologies to verify assumptions and test solutions with customers.
