Backend Engineer

apreel was founded in April 2010 by friends who dreamed of creating their own software house. • Strong commercial experience with TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with NestJS
• Very good knowledge of MySQL
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs
• Understanding of modular monolith architecture
• Ability to quickly onboard into an existing project
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication skills and proactive attitude
• English speaking (min B2 level)

Nice to have:

• Experience working in fast-moving product teams

• Familiarity with scalable backend architectures

• Experience with testing and CI/CD workflows

• 4 years of experience in a similar position

• Knowledge of MySQL, TypeScript, NestJS

• Nice to have: REST, Debugging

• Languages: Polish, English

• Develop and maintain backend services in TypeScript
• Build new features and enhancements for customer projects
• Investigate and fix bugs in existing applications
• Design and maintain REST APIs
• Work within a NestJS-based modular monolith architecture
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability
