Software Engineer II, Flume Machine Learning

Google Cloud delivers enterprise-grade solutions leveraging Google's cutting-edge technology to help developers build sustainably. The role involves advancing schedulability and auto-tuning capabilities of data processing infrastructure critical for massive-scale ML pipelines and standard data processing workloads.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year of experience with distributed systems and scalable infrastructure.
• 1 year of experience with Machine Learning infrastructure.

• Develop small to medium size data processing features.
• Use AI-tools for developing new data processing capabilities.
• Work with mission critical customers on their schedulability issues.
• Analyze performance data and design data driven solutions.
