As part of Airbus’s ambition to grow a proficient and competitive Engineering organisation, a Commercial Aircraft Engineering Centre is being launched in Poland to leverage Poland’s talent pool and technological ecosystem in Propulsion systems, supporting broader Engineering workload and competitiveness requirements, and reinforcing Airbus’ strategic engagement with Poland.


Wymagania

  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical/System Engineering or related discipline
  • 2 to 10 years experience in Mechanical design or System Integration
  • Negotiation level English
  • Advanced CATIA V5 skills; 3Dx experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of means of manufacturing
  • Basic knowledge of structure pre-sizing
  • Knowledge of tolerancing (ISO standard)
  • Aeronautics context and certification framework (CS-25) knowledge is a plus

Obowiązki

1. Structure design and validation:

  • Lead the design solution including technical decisions, signatures, and routines
  • Ensure co-design with manufacturing approach
  • Integrate innovative solutions in the context of multi architectures trade
  • Integrate multidisciplinary requirements: safety, system installation, manufacturing technologies, tolerancing, stress, material & process, operability
  • Perform CAD modeling from Space Allocation Mockup (SAM) to Geometrical Reference Mock-up (GRM), including detailed design to issue definition dossier for industrialisation

2. System installation design and Optimization:

  • Develop optimized, robust, and cost-effective electrical and mechanical system installation solutions (e.g., electric, fuel, hydraulic, bleed, fire systems, drainage) to reduce weight and costs, improve reliability, performance, manufacturability, and maintainability of pylon system installation
  • Lead implementation activities of these solutions on aircraft, covering existing fleet and next generation propulsion systems
  • Contribute to identification, definition, and maturation of new system installation "techno bricks" relevant for future propulsion architectures
  • Support Technology Leaders in preparing and contributing to design studies and Technology Readiness Level (TRL) reviews
  • Lead and resolve complex system topics associated with ATA36 (bleed system) or ATA24 (electrical systems), including defining design solutions (3D, drawings, concessions, repairs)
  • Ensure strong coordination of all stakeholders including plant production, in-service support, project teams, R&T, and Chief Engineering

3. Propulsion Physical integration:

  • Coordinate with and follow-up engine or nacelle manufacturers activities to support team deliverables
  • Manage powerplant Interface Control Documents (ICD), Digital Mockup (DMU) integration and FAL installation drawings, updating and configuring according to modifications of powerplant components
  • Perform installation/feasibility studies including tolerances stack up and clash analysis to validate product changes proposed by engine/nacelle manufacturers
  • Support production by assessing reported non-conformances from nacelle manufacturer and FAL, and addressing MAP queries
  • Analyze non-conformities, contribute to FAL issues resolution, and propose and lead improvement projects in a Multi-Functional Team approach
  • Support Airlines customers by handling daily queries and validating customer documentation (AMM, SB)
  • Manage Airworthiness issues and in-service problems, contribute to risk assessment and provide technical data to support event closure (SB, mod)
  • Lead projects in continuous improvement approach: Recurring Costs savings, Performance improvement in the frame of DDMS, Innovative ways of working
