Digital IT Project Manager with Oracle R12

Hays IT Contracting operates on B2B principles, connecting IT specialists with innovative technology projects. The role involves managing a global ERP transformation and financial systems integration project using Oracle R12 in an enterprise environment.

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing IT projects in an enterprise environment
• Documented experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 (mandatory)
• Experience in ERP transformation or financial systems integration projects
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and system integration
• Understanding of tax processes (indirect tax, sales & use tax)
• Understanding of integration architecture, data flows, and system dependencies
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience collaborating with vendors, integrators, and implementation partners
• Excellent communication skills including working with management
• Experience working within PMO and governance/compliance frameworks
• Knowledge of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
• Experience managing budget, schedule, and risk

Nice to have:

• Experience with tax engine projects or migrations (e.g., Vertex)
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications

• Manage the full project lifecycle including planning, execution, implementation, and stabilization
• Lead ERP transformation projects based on Oracle R12
• Create and maintain project plans and schedules
• Manage budget, forecasting, and cost control
• Identify and manage project risks and issues
• Coordinate work of IT, Finance teams, and implementation partners
• Collaborate with stakeholders including executive level and report progress
• Ensure compliance with PMO, governance, and compliance requirements
• Support testing and solution deployment processes
• Build effective project communication in a distributed environment
