Senior Software Engineer (iOS) (m/f/n)

• Comfortable working in an agile cross-functional team.
• Proficient in Objective-C and Swift, including refactoring existing code to improve design.
• Ability to develop test-covered code at high quality and participate in team decisions for scalable and maintainable apps.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, best practices, and standards.
• Document technical specifications, installation procedures, and other relevant application information.
• Understanding of mobile software architectures including MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with CI/CD and release processes; good understanding of Git.
• Good understanding of UI/UX design principles and material design.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and large language models (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance productivity and solve complex problems.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply them responsibly within professional workflows.

Additional qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production iOS applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift and modern iOS development.
• Solid understanding of mobile architectures; experience with composable architectures (e.g., TCA) is a plus.
• Experience with SwiftUI including advanced layouts, state management, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Swift Concurrency (async/await, structured concurrency, actors).
• Experience with modularization strategies and scalable codebases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, release automation, and Git-based workflows.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in an agile environment.
• Ability to document technical solutions clearly and effectively.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Objective-C in legacy or mixed codebases.
• Experience with Swift Package Manager.
• Experience with tools such as Tuist for project/workspace generation.
• Experience with performance profiling (Instruments) and observability (logs, metrics).

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI where applicable.
• Ensure performance, reliability, accessibility, and excellent user experience across the application.
• Refactor and evolve existing codebases focusing on scalability, maintainability, and clean design.
• Apply modern mobile architectures and best practices, including MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Develop test-covered, production-ready code (unit, integration, snapshot tests).
• Take ownership of features end-to-end and contribute to technical decisions and architectural direction.
• Participate in code reviews ensuring high quality, security, and performance standards.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams in an agile, cross-functional environment.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and automated testing.
• Proactively identify technical debt and drive continuous improvements.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation such as setup guides and architecture decisions.
• Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to improve productivity while critically evaluating AI-generated outputs.
